A leading energy provider in London is seeking an experienced individual to build their analytics platform. The role involves modeling analytics for business domains, ensuring data quality, and developing dashboards. Ideal candidates should have advanced skills in SQL and Jinja, along with experience in tools like dbt Core and various cloud providers. Over the past ten years, Octopus Energy Group has expanded from a UK startup to become the UK's largest energy provider and a global leader, serving over 10 million customers across eight countries.
The Analytics Platform team is brand new to the company and is tasked with consolidating analytics tooling and building a strategy for consistent data modelling across all our global businesses. We are building a platform that each country can plug their respective data into and get consistent data to be used to optimise customer journeys for each region or metrics at the global level by the group management team.
