Job summary

Gen II Fund Services is seeking an experienced professional to assist in configuring, developing, and maintaining Yardi and related platforms across our offices. You will own data remediation, migrations, and automation, while collaborating with clients to structure systems and outputs for accurate investor reporting.

You will onboard new clients, build reporting outputs, and parameterize applications, contributing to system releases and data integrity monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ finance/Real Estate experience; knowledge of client/investor reporting outputs.
• Experience with bespoke report writing and output automation.
• Understanding of GDPR and handling sensitive data.

Job description

To assist in the configuration, development, and maintenance of Yardi and other related software acrossGenII’soffices,maximisingthe value of these global platforms, within a control-based environment.

To maintain and develop relationships with the client team and clients and to promote the positive image ofGenIIthrough the professional application of our services and knowledge via the use of these global platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Take ownership of data remediation, migrations to, and efficient output automation, of Yardi and other related global platforms
• Working closely with the clients to understand complex structures, collaboratively supporting our clients and client facing teams from a system structuring and setup perspective
• You will be involved in the onboarding of new clients, take ownership of building reporting outputs and parameterization of various applications
• Identifying, analysing and specifying all kinds of upcoming platform changes and options
• You will be involved in the preparation, execution and testing of system releases
• Client focused with an ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured work environment
• Act as a point of reference for theglobal Real Estate and Real Estate Fundsbusiness to answer and resolve issues/queries related to the use of the Yardi and other platforms under yourteam’sremit
• Keeping abreast of system releases affecting the future efficiencies and functions of the platform to ensure that best practice and working methodology are implemented into standards and procedures
• You will be involved in data integrity monitoring to ensure all client and investor static data is captured, recorded and accurate in all core platforms used by the business
• Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required by your line manager and the ClientService Applicationsteam
• Contribute to on-going discussions on operational process and best practices; document and implement process improvements.
• Prioritising own and others (where appropriate) workloads and projects ensuring that deadlines are met
• Provide input to establish plansfor new client setup and transitions
• Dealing with matters and queries in a timely manner
• Responsible for participating in appropriate projects and initiatives
• Attend and constructively contribute to ClientService Applicationsand other internalcommittees/meetings as required from time to time
• Take responsibility for providing system usage MI to key stakeholders within the business
• Develop client relationships, playing a key role in business development through system demonstrations and discussionswith other Yardi Subject Matter Experts

The ideal background for this role:

• 1-2 years’ relevantfinance industry experience in Real Estate/Real Estate Funds
• Strong accounting/bookkeeping experience with an understanding of client/investor reporting outputs and a drive to automate/improve processes
• Hands on experience with bespoke report writing and output automation(via systems or Excel)
• Understanding of GDPR and risks associated with personal/sensitive data
• Candidates must have/studying towardsa bachelor’s degree in either of the following or related fields: Accounting, Finance, Information Systems; ACA or ACCA
• Candidate must either have similar relevant experience in accounting application support, or a strong Yardi business user with a mindset of automation and a willingness to learn and grow into the role
• Previous experience withYardi (or similar system)projects,configuration, implementation, migration, and ongoing developmentideal but not a prerequisite for a candidate with the correct mindset, approachorother relevant experience

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule

This role isbased ineither ofourSouthampton, Jersey, London or Luxembourgoffices.Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scopein some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertakenisdependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
