Job Summary

Our client is a leading global real estate investor with significant capital to deploy across the UK and Europe. They are looking to hire a Senior Analyst in their Real Estate Investment team in London to support deal execution on European real estate transactions, with a focus on the Nordics.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Support deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily in the UK, Nordics, Germany, and the Netherlands.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities across geographies and asset classes.
  3. Contribute to developing investment strategies for European real estate markets.
  4. Assist in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models.
  5. Analyze, structure, negotiate, and recommend new deals.
  6. Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
  7. Support transaction workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting, and legal documentation.
  8. Assist in asset management activities related to existing investments.

Background and Experience

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree (1st or 2:1), preferably in finance, accounting, or economics.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a real estate team within an investment bank or private equity firm.
  3. Experience with value-add and opportunistic strategies.
  4. Broad experience across the real estate sector.
  5. Strong financial modelling skills.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail.
  7. Highly organized.
  8. Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  10. Native-level English proficiency.
  11. Fluency in a second European language, such as Swedish, is desirable.
