Job Summary

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will focus on supporting the London based OTC Derivative and Structured Product desks, covering Credit, Rates and Equity.

You will gain a deep understanding of the products and system infrastructure, allowing you to provide best-in-class trade execution to RBC’s investment professionals and the highest degree of white-glove service to our clients.

What will you do?

  • Support complex transactions for Credit, Rates, and Equity Derivatives, along with Structured Products, and support hedging activities.
  • Provide a central point of contact for the business, working closely with Sales, Trading, Clients, and internal groups.
  • Validate trade bookings, perform trade enrichment, and manage trade lifecycle events.
  • Resolve trade and cash breaks, ensure correct booking, and handle client communication.
  • Perform data reconciliations and facilitate new account setups.
  • Contribute to new projects and process improvements.
  • Complete daily tasks accurately and record them properly.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, PTMM.
  • Technical proficiency in financial systems like Bloomberg Terminal, Murex, Sophis, DTCC TradeServ, ICE, LCH.
  • Experience with downstream processing of OTC Derivatives or Structured Products.
