Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our European Origination and Execution team at Cubico. The role involves supporting senior investment professionals by building and maintaining complex financial models for investment transactions. The Senior Analyst will assist in business development, transaction analysis, and financing processes related to renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop financial models for renewable energy projects based on specific characteristics and assumptions.
  • Assist in due diligence of potential investments.
  • Analyze and compare investment opportunities using discounted cash flow methods.
  • Conduct initial qualitative and quantitative assessments of transactions.
  • Research industry data, technical, and financial information.

  • Head of O&E EMEA
  • Head of Financial Analysis
  • Country Heads in Europe
  • Legal, Finance, and Technical Teams
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, capable of building models from scratch.
  • Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure M&A (preferred).
  • Knowledge of project finance structures (preferred).
  • Experience in corporate finance or accounting (desirable).
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
