Job summary

Sigma7 is seeking a Senior Analyst to research and analyse information across jurisdictions for bespoke client briefs. You will identify information from public records and human sources, draft written reports, and present findings to managers and clients as required.

With 1–2 years in business intelligence or a related field, you will explain complex events clearly, liaise with sources under supervision, and conduct ad-hoc research for proposals.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in business intelligence or related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of written and numerical information.
  • Flexible and inquisitive approach to research with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of business, legal and regulatory concepts.
  • Russian language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse information from public records and intelligence from human sources in jurisdictions worldwide.
  • Draft written reports on findings and present these orally to managers and clients as required.
  • Liaise with human sources, under the direction of a case manager.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research tasks in support of project proposals.

Senior Analysts work across both the Transactions Advisory and Disputes Advisory practices, with the option of focusing on one as experience is achieved. Senior Analysts work with incomplete and potentially biased information spanning multiple jurisdictions and provide nuanced analysis of complicated events and issues relating to international business, politics, and regulatory affairs. With the support of a case manager, Senior Analysts suggest new avenues for research and identify areas where human sources may be able to supplement publicly available information. If Senior Analysts do not already have specific regional or industrial expertise, it will begin to develop, although case portfolios will remain fluid across jurisdictions and industry.
