In this role, you will support strategic initiatives that integrate AI into NICE's processes, working collaboratively across teams to identify and capitalise on opportunities for transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in research methods as well as the ability to support evaluations or pilots of artificial intelligence tools. We work with system partners to ensure NICE accesses a wide range of health and care data, enabling a system that continually learns from implementation.
Recently, the D&A team led the development of NICE's Statement of Intent for artificial intelligence (AI), outlining our approach to: 1) guiding technology developers on best practice for AI-based evidence generation; 2) evaluating AI technologies for NHS use; and 3) exploring AI tools within NICE processes. This work ensures NICE remains at the forefront of data and technology innovation, both in the UK and globally.
