Responsibilities include:

1. Work competently with FE tools, e.g., ABAQUS
2. Perform classical static stress and fatigue analysis
3. Interface with other business areas such as Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing
4. Participate in audit reviews and present information as needed
5. Contribute to product validation
6. Liaise with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other organizations
7. Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or alternatives
8. Review drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs
9. Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline; BSc/MSc preferred
• Knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes; landing gear experience advantageous
• Understanding of engineering functions and working experience in multiple areas
• Experience with recognized FEA and fatigue software tools
• Knowledge of static and fatigue structural analysis methods
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with aerospace materials and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in an IPT environment
• Proactive problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities
• Organized, able to meet strict deadlines, proficient with MS Office
• Full eligibility to work in the UK
