Job summary
One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead seeks a Senior Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner to join the Theatre team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support leadership, mentor colleagues, and deliver evidence-based patient care across Anaesthetic and Recovery.
The role involves 37.5 hours/week on a 7-day rota, with weekends/bank holidays as required. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in a private healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with NMC registration and no restrictions.
- Anaesthetic and Recovery post-registration qualification is required.
- ILs capable to act as Anaesthetic Assistant/Recovery Practitioner across specialties.
- Ability to manage medications effectively and teach others.
Responsibilities
- Support the Anaesthetic and Recovery Lead to meet objectives and lead service improvements.
- Mentor junior team members and deliver evidence-based patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding service.
- Provide clinical leadership, develop staff, and review processes.
- Help drive quality compliance within the department.
