Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Consultant to join our clinical team. You will administer anaesthesia, monitor patients during surgery and lead postoperative care, ensuring high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

You will work across a range of specialties, with opportunities for subspecialising, and benefit from competitive hourly rates, supported by a responsive consultant team, CPD events, and ongoing revalidation and appraisal

Qualifications

In-depth medical degree and valid medical license to practice anaesthesia.
Proven experience as an Anaesthetic Consultant.
Strong diagnostic abilities and proficiency in anaesthetic procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advances.
CCT required and GMC registered to practice.

Responsibilities

Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
Manage post-operative care and guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.
Contribute to development of anaesthetic services and support subspecialisation opportunities.
