One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Senior Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner to join the Theatre team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves supporting the Anaesthetic and Recovery Lead, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality patient care within a busy theatre environment.
The ideal candidate will hold an RN with NMC registration, an Anaesthetic and Recovery post-registration qualification, and ILS certification, with the ability to lead and develop the team
Qualificações

- Anaesthetic and Recovery post-registration qualification.
- ILS (Immediate Life Support) trained.
- Ability to teach and assess others on technical aspects of the role.

Your responsibilities will include:
To support the Anaesthetic and Recovery Lead in meeting departmental objectives by contributing, developing, supporting the work of Anaesthetic and Recovery as well as overall theatre service. This will include staff training and development, process improvement and project management.
To mentor junior members of the team and actively participate as a practitioner in the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care to all patients.
To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve and maintain an outstanding, patient-focused and effective service.
To support the Anaesthetic and Recovery Lead in providing visible and strong clinical leadership, developing staff, and critiquing and updating processes within the department.
To support the Anaesthetic and Recovery Lead in improving quality compliance within the department.
For Clinical Roles:
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
