Job summary

Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists, part of CVS Vets, is seeking an Experienced Anaesthesia RVN to join our multidisciplinary referral hospital in the South of England. You will be supported by a sizeable anaesthesia team and receive a 4–8 week induction, plus ongoing in-house CPD and regular CPR refreshers.

The role focuses on monitoring a range of cases from sedation to complex anaesthesia, with arterial lines and central venous catheters used where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with Anaesthesia experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience as an Anaesthesia RVN.
• Induction training 4–8 weeks with in-house CPD support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients from sedation to complex anaesthesia cases.
• Work within a large anaesthesia team of 5 Anaesthetists, 2 resident Anaesthetists and 9 Anaesthesia RVNs.
• Lead CPD activities and attend regular CPR refreshers; contribute to ongoing learning.
