Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow for a 6-month fixed term post in Anaesthesia, start February 2027, with potential extension to 12 months. Posts available in multiple sub-specialities and a strong focus on training within an ESRA Approved Training Centre.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and GMC registration required.
• Final FRCA or equivalent training completed or in progress.
• ATLS or equivalent and evidence of medical education interest.
• Ability to lead in emergencies and teach anaesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic cover across general, trauma, paediatric, neuro and cardiac theatres.
• Operate within a 1:8 full shift rota with on-call duties based on skills.
• Deliver high quality preoperative assessment and anaesthetic care for ASA 1–4 patients.
• Assist with obstetric on-call duties when required and participate in subspecialty fellowships.
