Job summary

SmartSearch Group is seeking a Compliance Manager to provide expert regulatory oversight across our products and client services. The role focuses on AML, KYC/KYB, sanctions, data protection and risk management within a fast-paced tech environment.

The successful candidate will lead assurance activities, support policy implementation and guide cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of compliance and governance across the Group and its affiliates.

Qualifications

• AML/compliance qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in compliance, financial crime, regulatory advisory, assurance or risk.
• Ability to translate regulatory change into practical actions for business and clients.
• Experience with KYC/KYB, due diligence, screening and regulatory processes.
• Strong communicator who can influence and simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance oversight across Group products and services.
• Lead certification, accreditation and assurance activities with regulators and auditors.
• Act as SME on AML, CTF, sanctions, and other regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Operations, Legal and Security teams for compliant delivery.
• Monitor performance, risk indicators and process improvements for compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day compliance operations and escalation handling.
• Drive change management and horizon scanning for regulatory shifts.
• Lead regulatory change management and governance initiatives.
