Job summary

Fieldfisher in Belfast is recruiting a Senior Client Onboarding Officer to support AML/CFT/ABC compliance within a fast-paced, international environment. The role focuses on the client acceptance process, risk assessments and training junior staff.

The candidate will perform sanctions and conflicts screening and work with stakeholders at partner and fee-earner levels, guided by the Onboarding Manager and a robust quality control framework.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate diplomas in Law or relevant disciplines are preferred.
• Proven AML/KYC experience considered even if conflicts background is not strong.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AML screening and risk assessments at a high-quality level.
• Provide guidance in Quality Control and supervise junior staff.
• Manage stakeholder needs and service-level issues at Partner and fee-earner level.
• Attend and deliver internal training as needed.
• Escalate team management issues to Client Onboarding Manager(s).
