Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Airport Technical Advisor to support and grow our airport advisory practice from our Croydon office. The role requires a strong civil engineering base and proven ability to deliver complex, multidisciplinary airport projects.
You will lead technical reviews, mentor colleagues, and work with aviation clients across the project lifecycle. A flexible hybrid model and international travel are available to the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Civil engineering background or degree with civil components.
- Professional qualification such as CEng/ICE or equivalent.
- Aviation industry experience or transferable skills from related sectors.
- Broad airport lifecycle experience: forecasting, planning, design, operations, advisory.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work across borders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, operations and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Engage with aviation clients and apply domain knowledge to projects.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals and presentations for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
- Lead projects as Technical Lead or Project Manager ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Visit clients domestically and internationally to support delivery and relationships.
