Ultra PCS, a leading defence and aerospace type, seeks a Tech Specialist – Aircraft Power Electronics to provide senior technical leadership for architecture, design, verification, and certification of safety-critical power electronics systems for high-voltage aircraft power distribution and conversion.

Key applications include HVDC/AC power distribution units, motor drives, and power supplies; drive adoption of SiC/GaN, digital control, and model-based design within ARP/DO safety frameworks up

Qualifications

Advanced HV power electronics design experience
Ability to trace requirements to verification evidence (DAL A)

Responsibilities

Define and solve complex engineering problems in HVDC/AC conversion, protection, thermal design, EMC, insulation, reliability, and certification risk.
Lead power electronics strategy and technology roadmap with Technical Authority.
Mentor engineers across technical, product, and lifecycle domains.
Act as senior technical authority and escalation point for HV power systems.
Support bid activities with technical input, estimation, and risk identification.
