Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified sales prospects by targeting existing and potential clients through cold/warm calls, networking, in-person visits (UK/Abroad as required), emails, LinkedIn, etc.
- Keep an accurate CRM record of all clients, ensuring contact details are up to date.
- Identify new potential areas for business development.
- Initiate and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers, airline and other suppliers, focusing on building long-term relationships.
- Oversee charter quotes by understanding customer needs to recommend appropriate charter options.
- Manage charter flight bookings from enquiry to completion, setting up all pre-flight arrangements with handling agents, ground transport, catering, etc., and ensure all contracts, invoices, and trip sheets are sent and uploaded into CRM.
- Review airline documentation (contracts, insurance, AOC, Argus & Wyvern reports) to mitigate client risk, ensuring all contractual clauses are covered (training provided).
- Monitor aircraft arrival/departure and updates for immediate communication to customers; troubleshoot flight issues and handle post-flight closeouts.
- Follow standard operating procedures for sales, including sales calls.
- Be willing and flexible to travel globally for company business.
- Perform other tasks, projects, and events as assigned by management.
- Assist with training junior brokers and support colleagues with advice and guidance.
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of similar aircraft charter experience.
- A passion for aviation.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of autonomy.
- Calm disposition and positive outlook, especially under pressure.
- Tenacious and persistent in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to adapt working hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and excellent telephone manners.
- Team player with good cooperation skills within local and international teams.
- Adaptability to feedback and change.
- Second language desirable but not essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
