Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client for a Senior Charter Broker (Private Jets) on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified sales prospects by targeting existing and potential clients through cold/warm calls, networking, in-person visits (UK/Abroad as required), emails, LinkedIn, etc.
2. Keep an accurate and tidy CRM record of all clients, ensuring their contact details are up to date.
3. Identify new potential areas for business development.
4. Initiate and maintain business relationships with existing & prospective customers, airline & other suppliers, focusing on building long-term, meaningful relationships.
5. Oversee charter quotes by identifying and understanding the needs of the customer to recommend the most appropriate charter options.
6. Manage charter flight bookings from enquiry to completion, setting up all pre-flight arrangements in a timely and accurate manner with handling agents, ground transport, catering companies, etc. Ensure all contracts, invoices, and trip sheets are sent to the client and uploaded into the CRM.
7. Review airline documentation (contracts, insurance, AOC, Argus & Wyvern reports, etc.), ensuring client risk is mitigated and contractual clauses are covered (training provided).
8. Monitor aircraft for arrival/departure and information updates for immediate communication to customers. Troubleshoot and solve problems on flights. Handle post-flight closeouts.
9. Conform to standard operating procedures for sales, including sales calls.
10. Be willing and flexible to travel globally for company business (meetings, networking, flight representation, etc.).
11. Perform other work tasks, projects, and events as assigned by management.
12. Assist in training junior brokers and supporting colleagues with advice and guidance.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of similar aircraft charter experience.
2. A passion for aviation.
3. Self-motivated with a high degree of autonomy.
4. Calm disposition and positive outlook under pressure.
5. Tenacious and persistent in challenging situations.
6. Flexibility to adapt working hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with excellent telephone manners.
8. Team player who values cooperation within local and international teams.
9. Responds well to feedback and change.
10. Second language desirable but not essential.
11. Right to work in the UK.
