Job summary

Lucion Delta-Simons Ltd is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our Environmental Consultancy team, leading technically challenging work and mentoring junior consultants.

You will manage a portfolio of air quality projects, deliver high-quality assessments from concept to delivery, perform dispersion modelling with ADMS and ADMS-Roads, and build trusted client relationships within a hybrid UK-working environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering or a related discipline
• Extensive consultancy experience in air quality
• Strong knowledge of UK air quality legislation, planning policy and IAQM guidance
• Experience using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Excellent report writing, communication and project management skills
• Membership of IAQM and/or a relevant professional institution
• Chartered status or progress towards it is desirable
• A proactive approach and a passion for high-quality environmental consultancy

Responsibilities

• You’ll take the lead on a varied portfolio of projects, providing high-quality technical advice from assessment through to delivery.
• Leading air quality assessments for planning and environmental permitting projects
• Preparing technical reports covering air quality, dust and odour
• Undertaking and reviewing dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
• Designing and managing air quality monitoring programmes and analysing data
• Managing multiple projects, keeping them on time, on budget and technically excellent
• Building strong client relationships and supporting proposals and tenders
• Mentoring junior consultants and helping them develop their technical skills
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver joined-up environmental solutions

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our growing Environmental Consultancy team and help shape the air quality solutions behind some of the UK’s most interesting infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You’ll get the chance to lead technically challenging work, build trusted client relationships, mentor the next generation of consultants and help grow our Air Quality service.

All while working with people who take their work seriously — but don’t believe consultancy has to feel like a breath of stale office air.

What will you actually do?

knowledge of Occupational Air Quality, Lighting or Greenhouse Gas assessments.
