Job summary

Blend, a data consultancy, seeks an AI Product & Strategy Consultant to turn complex business challenges into scalable AI opportunities. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology and delivery, working with investment partners and senior leaders to identify value and shape practical AI solutions that move from discovery into delivery.

You will balance executive presence with technical depth to challenge assumptions, assess feasibility, and direct cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business strategy, technology and delivery, with enterprise data or AI leadership.
• Strong ability to influence executives and senior clients, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Able to simplify complex problems and move quickly toward practical outcomes.
• Proven track record translating technology investments into measurable business value.
• Fluent in AI concepts, with ability to shape point of view and challenge assumptions.
• Experience in opportunity discovery, prioritisation and roadmap development.
• Technical depth to assess data readiness, architecture and security considerations.
• Delivery leadership across governance, dependencies and executive support.
• Experience with generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation and enterprise knowledge systems.
• Background in top-tier strategy/management consulting or technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery across business functions to uncover underlying problems.
• Identify and prioritise AI, data and workflow opportunities by value and feasibility.
• Translate opportunities into value cases, roadmaps and measurable criteria.
• Shape AI-enabled products from vision through validation, build and adoption.
• Design phased programmes delivering near-term value and reusable foundations.
• Redesign workflows and operating models based on how people work.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to test assumptions and feasibility.
• Mobilise cross-functional teams and maintain momentum amid changing priorities.
• Establish governance for delivery, security and responsible AI.
• Present recommendations to partners and executives to enable timely decisions.
