Job summary

EY UK & I SaT is seeking a Senior Manager to lead design, development and deployment of internal AI-enabled applications and platforms. Focused on internal product capability rather than client work, you will blend full-stack engineering with applied AI to scale adoption across SaT.

You will work with the SaT AI Product team and internal tech groups to deliver scalable, governed solutions, staying ahead of AI trends and maintaining high code quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering with production-grade applications.
• Experience developing frontend interfaces and backend services with APIs.
• Solid data modelling with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying apps to cloud (preferably Azure).
• Experience building AI-enabled solutions or agents using platforms like Copilot, Azure, or similar.
• Strong fundamentals: version control, testing, collaborative development.
• Comfort across full development lifecycle from build to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy full-stack internal applications spanning frontend, backend, data and AI components.
• Develop AI-enabled tools and agents for internal use using EY-approved technologies.
• Rapidly prototype ideas and evolve them into production-ready internal solutions.
• Apply AI-native development approaches while ensuring code quality, security and reliability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of internal solutions from concept to production deployment and ongoing enhancement.
• Architect systems integrating with EY platforms and data sources.
• Support deployment, monitoring and ongoing improvement in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with business practitioners, product managers and internal tech teams to define requirements and co-design solutions.
• Contribute reusable components and internal tooling to enable faster delivery across SaT.
• Ensure solutions comply with EY risk, quality, information security and governance standards.
• Document solutions and support internal enablement and adoption.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute to engineering standards.
