Job summary

MCS Group is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (Senior / Lead) based in Belfast with a hybrid working pattern. You will join a fast-moving AI company delivering bespoke, production-grade AI solutions to clients across defence, finance and public services.

This role focuses on building from scratch and acting as a technical partner to customers. You will work directly with clients to understand their environments, identify AI opportunities, design architectures on a modern AI platform, and

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering (Python ideally).
• Experience building production systems or platforms.
• Comfortable working with APIs, data and modern cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI/LLMs, or strong interest in this space.
• Ability to work with clients and translate problems into solutions.
• Ambiguity and solving new problems.
