Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm seeking a Senior Associate, Security Engineer (AI) to own AI security controls and governance. The role requires cross‑functional collaboration with GRC, Legal and Technology teams to protect enterprise AI deployments.

The candidate will lead AI platform security, threat modelling, and cross‑functional programme contributions, shaping A&M’s nascent but high‑priority AI security capabilities across the organisation.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in AI security with SME for AI security/governance.
Minimum 4 years in cybersecurity with security engineering or cloud security foundation.
Experience with AI/ML security, LLM security, or AI tool governance.
Hands-on securing enterprise SaaS platforms and AI deployments.
Involvement in AI security assessments or vendor security evaluations.

Responsibilities

Own AI platform security controls across data governance, access management, audit logging, DLP and network security.
Act as SME for AI security/governance tools including Harmonic; secure enterprise AI apps (Claude family).
Build and operate continuous AI security monitoring with anomaly detection and policy controls.
Integrate AI security into engineering roadmaps, vulnerability management, and CSPM.
Liaise with AI platform vendors' security teams and track updates/advisories.
Develop AI threat models with SOC/Threat Intelligence, GRC and Legal/Privacy.
Apply S-SDLC and IDE security to assess AI-enabled development risks.
Contribute to cross-functional AI governance groups and SAR process.
