Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer focused on AI Security to be the company’s deepest technical expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and security. You will define the security strategy for AI, establish guardrails for LLM adoption, and build AI-powered security tooling in close partnership with the wider Engineering and Product teams.

You will conduct security reviews of AI integrations, shape Ripple's external AI security posture, and contribute to industry

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Security Engineering experience in multiple domains and hands-on AI/ML security exposure.
• Solid understanding of AI and LLM security concepts including prompt injection and data poisoning.
• Experience securing agentic AI systems and runtime monitoring for autonomous workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define AI Security strategy and roadmap across Ripple's AI systems and SDLC.
• Design and implement security controls for LLM-integrated and agentic AI systems.
• Lead security reviews and risk assessment of AI integrations entering production.
• Build and scale AI security tooling and guardrails across Engineering and Product.
