Job description

The Corporate Analytics team is part of the wider Information Department – supplying specialist analysis, modelling, and benchmarking across all of the clinical divisions. Members of the team provide management information to support effective decision-making and assist in highlighting improvement opportunities for the trust.

We are looking for an analyst with experience and interest in AI and automated processes, who is enthusiastic about applying their skills and developing further as part of the team.

  1. Support project initiatives across all areas of the trust – developing a breadth of knowledge and performing complex analysis tasks.
  2. Utilise various methods of presentation to communicate results and advice clearly, supporting effective decision-making.
  3. Make use of AI and various analytical methods to develop new solutions to meet requirements effectively.
  4. Work collaboratively within a team – delivering jointly on larger projects, sharing knowledge to promote learning, improve methods, and support best practices.

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the country's principal teaching hospitals. Our main site is shared with St George's, University of London, which trains medical students and conducts advanced medical research. We have over 9,000 dedicated staff serving a population of 1.3 million across south-west London.

We deliver a large number of services, including cardiothoracic medicine and surgery, neurosciences, and renal transplantation. We also serve significant populations from Surrey and Sussex, totaling around 3.5 million people. In addition to acute hospital services, we provide a wide variety of specialist care and community services to patients.
