Job summary

Bloomberg in London seeks a Senior AI Risk Technical Advisory Lead to serve as a senior architect for AI risk across Bloomberg's products, platforms, and data. You will collaborate with engineering, product, data science, legal, and privacy teams to provide practical risk guidance throughout the AI lifecycle.

This role bridges technical AI implementation with enterprise risk oversight, reporting to risk leaders and helping define responsible AI standards, controls, and governance practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, technology risk, or responsible AI.
• 4+ years directly focused on AI/ML risk, governance, or technical advisory.
• Strong technical understanding of AI/ML and generative AI systems.
• Demonstrated ability to assess technical AI risks and recommend practical controls.
• Hands-on familiarity with generative AI platforms and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level technical advisory for AI risk across Bloomberg's products and platforms.
• Evaluate AI risks related to bias, explainability, Hallucination, robustness, privacy, and security.
• Advise teams on controls, testing, monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies by use case and regulatory exposure.
• Review high‑risk AI use cases and provide risk‑based recommendations to governance forums.
• Help define practical technical standards for responsible AI development and monitoring.
