Job summary

bet365 Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive innovation on our facial recognition and identity platform. You will lead AI‑driven engineering in a full‑stack environment to support global expansion and deliver reliable, scalable software.

The ideal candidate has expertise with Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang or React, cloud experience (GCP valued), and NoSQL stores. You will mentor a team, own critical solutions, and contribute to code quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading development teams and delivering technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of scalable systems and on-call/incident response.
• Ability to mentor, pair program and review code to improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of escalation for the team both in and out of office hours.
• Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Apply active governance around overall solution design and code quality.
• Ensure solutions meet the needs of the Business.
• Manage work estimation and the production of solution documents.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the systems.
• Guide a small team of developers in the design and development of solutions.
• Own technical solutions and their hands‑on delivery from development to live.
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members.
