Job summary

Believ is seeking a Senior Architect AI to design and oversee the end-to-end AI platform architecture powering LibertyGlobal's telecom services. You will bridge technical excellence with business value, driving integration with on-prem and cloud infra while meeting budgets and performance targets.

You will lead architectural standards, guide engineering teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across Europe to ensure scalable, secure AI deployments and ongoing platform evolution.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in software architecture or technical lead roles, with 4-5 years AI/ML focus
• Proven end-to-end AI/ML architecture experience in production
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, containers, and MLOps
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Telecom systems experience and OSS/BSS integration understanding
• Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
• Proficiency with AI/ML tech including deployment and monitoring
• Experience with microservices and API architecture
• Strong data warehousing, streaming (Kafka/Pulsar), and big data tooling
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Budget planning, cost modeling, and operational considerations

Responsibilities

• Design and own an end-to-end AI platform architecture
• Define standards, patterns, and technology selection for scalable AI
• Ensure integration with telecom infrastructure and security requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams
• Establish observability, quality, and operational targets
• Provide architectural guidance throughout development lifecycle
• Support cost optimization and capacity planning
• Lead technical due diligence for acquisitions or partnerships
