Job Description:

Location: London (Hybrid, 1-2 days/week)

Salary: Up to £100,000

Hybrid: (2 days in Central London) + 6 weeks abroad annually

Eligibility: Must be UK-based with full right to work

Build What Gets Used. Fast.

Join an international HealthTech product team building tools for complex, high-volume systems. You’ll be responsible for everything from LLM features & data pipelines to deployment and monitoring. Everything you build will be used in production from day one.

You'll build & ship, fast.

You’ll work on retrieval pipelines, model orchestration, backend APIs & observability. The stack includes OpenAI, Claude, Mistral & open-source models - whichever solves the problem best.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in backend, ML, or infrastructure roles, ideally in product-focused teams
  • Proven track record of shipping model-driven features into live production
  • Hands-on across the full lifecycle: data ingestion, training, deployment, monitoring
  • Strong judgement around trade-offs - speed, cost, and system reliability
  • Works well in fast-moving environments with little hand-holding or overhead

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deploy retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using LangChain and custom embeddings
  • Design and maintain FastAPI services powering LLM workflows used daily by real customers
  • Own the full MLOps lifecycle: from training and fine-tuning to deployment, monitoring, and rollback
  • Optimise inference latency and cost across OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, and open-source models
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team of engineers, product leads, and domain experts to ship fast and iterate often

Why Join?

  • Everything you build gets shipped - tools are already being used by real clinical teams across Europe
  • They've launched 3 LLM-powered products in the past 12 months, including triage support & summarisation tools
  • 2025 roadmap includes greenfield builds: real-time clinical insights & an AI assistant for care teams
  • Small, engineering-led team where you’ll move fast and own what you build
  • Flexible hybrid setup, strong salary & a product with real-world impact

Interview Process (2 weeks)

  • 30-min intro
  • 1-hour technical deep dive
  • 90-min take-home
  • Final call with CTO & Head of Data

Please apply immediately to avoid missing out.
