Job summary

Pipedrive is seeking a Principal AI/ML Scientist & Engineer to lead a growing team of Applied Scientists and AI/ML Engineers. This role blends scientific rigor with shipping data products that customers love, and you will set the technical strategy for AI/ML solutions across structured CRM data and unstructured content.

You will own autonomous workflows, real-time reasoning engines, and collaborate with the AI Platform team to scale LLM operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of applied science or engineering experience in ML/AI.
• Proven ability to lead and scale a technical team.
• Experience delivering production AI/ML systems.
• Deep expertise in AI engineering concepts and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Applied Scientists and AI/ML Engineers, fostering technical excellence and scientific rigor.
• Lead the technical strategy for AI/ML-based solutions focused on extracting actionable value from CRM data and unstructured content.
• Build intelligence within our AI-native CRM, including autonomous agentic workflows and real-time reasoning engines.
• Collaborate with the AI Platform team to drive large language model operations (LLMOps) and scalable deployment.
• Apply scientific intuition to design AI systems optimized for customer-centric, real-world performance.
• Serve as a technical authority shaping the AI engineering roadmap across the data ecosystem.
