Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, or adjacent field.
• Experience building performance models that forecast system behavior.
• Hands-on GPU/accelerator code optimization (CUDA or similar).
• Understanding of LLMs and DL on real hardware: training vs inference.
• Familiar with profiling tools like Nsight and PyTorch Profiler.
• Python, Pandas and NumPy for data work.

Responsibilities

• Sit between research and engineering, pull real numbers from live training and inference.
• Build models and calculators to forecast performance and ROI for hardware choices.
• Help decide on architectures and accelerator investments based on results.
