Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent industry experience in related field.
• 5+ years in systems programming, parallel or distributed computing, or large-scale data movement.
• Strong background in C++, Python, and GPU programming models like CUDA.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and large-scale training/inference.
• Ability to reason across software stacks, hardware, and bottlenecks; collaborative work in multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve scalable software architectures for distributed AI training and inference.
• Develop and evaluate next-generation communication/runtime capabilities in NCCL, UCX, and UCC.
• Partner with AI framework teams to integrate and optimize end-to-end performance.
• Collaborate on hardware and system-level features across GPUs, DPUs, and interconnects.
• Drive innovations in runtime systems and AI protocol layers from concept to robust implementation.
