Job summary

Avanti Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to own the AI layer of a growing SaaS platform for intelligent document processing. You will shape architecture, build production AI systems and work closely with a hands-on CTO to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes designing end-to-end AI functionality, integrating LLMs, data pipelines and feedback loops to continuously improve recommendations and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining AI systems in production.
• Strong Python engineering experience.
• Ability to own technically complex systems and deliver into production.
• Knowledge graphs, ontologies, recommendation systems, learning from user feedback would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for new AI features and services.
• Build production AI/ML systems using Python, NLP and LLMs.
• Develop intelligent document-processing and information-extraction capabilities.
• Integrate LLMs and retrieval-based approaches into product workflows.
• Design systems for scalability, reliability, latency and cost.
• Build and optimise data pipelines, model evaluation and monitoring.
• Work closely with the CTO and engineers, providing technical direction while hands-on.
