Distyl AI in London, UK is seeking AI Engineers to design and deploy production-grade AI systems powered by LLMs, working directly with Fortune 500 companies to transform complex workflows.

You will build real-world AI applications—from intelligent agents to full-stack AI products—and see them operate at scale in mission-critical environments. This hands-on role involves collaborating with customers, defining system architectures, and helping steer AI adoption and deployment as Distyl grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience deploying LLM-powered AI applications in production.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Guardrails, MCP, or agent frameworks.
• Experience implementing RAG pipelines and multi-step AI workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI system evaluation, debugging, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production AI apps using LLMs.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate problems into AI solutions.
• Design scalable architectures for production AI systems.
• Contribute to Distillery, building reusable infrastructure for deployments.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for model performance (accuracy, latency, cost).
• Ensure observability, reliability, and security of systems.
• Improve development workflows and deployment strategies as the platform evolves.
