Job summary

AND Digital is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of an automated AI DevX platform on Microsoft Azure. This 12-month contract role focuses on creating scalable Terraform scripts and modular infrastructure to support enterprise AI resources and secure landing zones.

You will build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, containerize MCP servers, and ensure robust monitoring with OpenTelemetry and Log Analytics.

Qualifications

• 24 years of experience writing production-grade, modular Terraform code for Azure infrastructure.
• Strong experience building YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including secrets management with Azure Key Vault and automated environment provisioning.
• Hands-on with Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture, agent orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LangChain, and API gateway patterns.
• Experience deploying containerized microservices using Azure Container Apps (ACA) or AKS.
• Solid Azure networking background (VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS) and Entra ID access controls with Docker.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an automated AI Developer Experience (DevX) platform using Terraform on Microsoft Azure.
• Author, modularize, and maintain enterprise Terraform scripts to provision Azure AI resources, sandbox environments, and secure landing zones.
• Construct automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for agentic workflows, prompt evaluation, automated testing, and release gating.
• Design, containerize, and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and gateways to connect AI agents securely with enterprise databases and APIs.
• Create reusable developer templates, local execution environments, and self‑service infrastructure‑as‑code modules to streamline onboarding for AI developers.
• Implement tracing and metrics collection using Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, and Log Analytics across agent executions, tool calls, and pipeline steps.

Requirements:

• You have 24 years of experience writing production-grade, modular Terraform code for Azure infrastructure.
