Job summary

Inara, a growing AI-Native Technology Consultancy, is seeking a Senior / Lead AI Engineer to work hands-on with clients in London, shaping problems into production-grade AI solutions. You’ll design and build AI-powered applications, facilitate decision-making, and help deploy scalable systems.

You’ll work across LLMs, RAG, agents and AI-enabled workflows, with a Field CTO mindset, collaborating with engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver real value.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background and hands-on experience shipping AI-enabled applications.
• Experience designing and building AI-powered solutions across production environments.
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms, APIs and data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business problems directly with clients.
• Design and build AI-powered applications, prototypes and production solutions.
• Work with LLMs, RAG, agents and AI-enabled workflows.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems, APIs and data.
• Take ideas from concepts through to production-ready software.
• Establish testing, security and scalability considerations for AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leaders and senior client stakeholders.
• Help teams identify where AI adds genuine value to products or processes.
• Contribute to internal AI tooling and reusable capabilities.
