Job summary

M&G, a long-established financial services firm, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer within the Life Technology team in the UK. The role focuses on designing, deploying and optimising enterprise AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, with a strong emphasis on security, governance and responsible AI.

This 12-month fixed-term position partners with product owners, data engineers and risk teams to build scalable AI capabilities, integrate LLMs, and implement MLOps.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an AI engineering expert with hands-on ML and generative AI experience.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration with product, data, security and risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and optimise enterprise AI capabilities delivering measurable business value.
• Lead AI solution delivery with product owners and architects, ensuring governance and security.
• Implement MLOps, monitoring, and production operations for reliable AI systems.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to scale AI services and governance.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and drive responsible adoption.
