Just Eat Takeaway.com seeks a Senior Enterprise AI Engineer to own an AI improvements roadmap from prototyping to production deployments. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled software while leading AI projects and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment.

You will implement MLOps/AIOps, optimize model serving and data pipelines, and collaborate with business stakeholders and data science teams. Strong cloud/Python and container experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms AWS or GCP and related services.
• Strong Python programming skills and fluency in another language.
• IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible or Serverless Framework.
• Passion for automating processes and improving CI/CD.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, GKE).
• Foundational experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality software and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly.

As a Senior Enterprise AI Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a roadmap of improvements, focusing on the full lifecycle of AI applications-from initial prototyping to production-grade deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions, focusing on AI-enabled applications and infrastructure.
• Lead and participate in technical projects and deployments of AI systems.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in AI engineering.
• Implement best practices (e.g., MLOps, AIOps) to enhance products/services and processes related to AI.
• Optimize existing model serving and data pipelines to meet evolving performance and security requirements.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and data science teams.
• Lead functional projects or work streams focused on AI infrastructure and tooling.

Your Profile & Recommended Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB/RDS) or GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, BigQuery).
• Strong programming skills, with extensive experience in Python and fluency in another language.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Serverless Framework).
• A passion for automating processes.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Container Orchestration like Kubernetes/ECS/GKE).
• A genuine interest in and foundational experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality work and driving best practices in software engineering.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
• Stay updated with new technologies in the AI space.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with advanced AI tools and platforms, such as Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with frameworks for building complex, multi-step generative AI applications, like LangGraph.
• Experience with Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication or coordination patterns in AI systems.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity.
• Knowledge of or experience with MCP to integrate LLMs with external data sources and tools.
