A seed-stage HealthTech start-up with backing from notable tier 1 VCs is seeking to recruit its first AI engineer. This company already has a seven-figure ARR and is close to announcing a large Series A.

About the Role:

You'll design and build a range of AI systems and technologies, including agent-based AI, voice automation, recommendation engines, and healthcare workflows. You will have the autonomy to make technical decisions, work hands-on with healthcare data, and impact patient outcomes directly.

If you enjoy taking ideas from prototype to production, have experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, voice tech, and want to scale a product from zero to one, this role is for you.

• Strong product-focused AI/ML engineering experience
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs and generative AI models
• Experience building voice agents (TTS, STT) is a plus
• Entrepreneurial, independent, and proactive
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Based in the UK or Europe with ability to travel to the US occasionally
