Job summary

Albert Bow Limited in London is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the infrastructure behind AI applications deployed in production, collaborating directly with the founders.

You will design agent-based systems, RAG pipelines, and robust backend services in Python, while improving performance, reliability and security.

The role is onsite, high-intensity, and targets engineers with 5+ years in software engineering and hands-on AI deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI applications to production.
• Strong backend engineering with Python, Django or FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Senior AI Engineer | London, Onsite | Up to £150,000 + Equity

I’m working with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company building software for major financial institutions. Their platform turns complex, manual workflows into AI-powered systems used across global teams.

They’re looking for an engineer who has shipped AI applications into production and wants to take ownership of the infrastructure behind them. You’ll work directly with the founders and build across AI agents, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks and the backend services that support them.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and deploying agent-based systems and RAG pipelines
• Building reliable backend services and APIs, ideally with Python
• Developing evaluation and monitoring for AI features in production
• Working with data pipelines, relational databases, Redis and background workers
