Job summary

Gofractional is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build and maintain an automated AI Developer Experience (DevX) platform on Microsoft Azure. You will focus on automating infrastructure provisioning for AI workloads, integrating MCP services, and deploying AI agents securely across enterprise environments.

You will design modular Terraform scripts, containerize MCP components, and construct robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years writing production-grade, modular Terraform code targeting Azure infrastructure.
• Strong experience building YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including secrets management (Azure Key Vault) and automated environment provisioning.
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture, agent orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangChain), and API gateway patterns.
• Experience deploying containerized microservices using Azure Container Apps (ACA) or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Solid background in Azure networking (VNets, Private Endpoints, DNS), Entra ID access controls, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning for AI workloads and integrate MCP services.
• Design, containerize, and deploy MCP servers and gateways for secure connectivity to enterprise databases and APIs.
• Create reusable templates and self-service IaC modules for AI developer onboarding.
• Implement tracing and metrics collection (Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, Log Analytics) across agent executions and pipeline steps.

• This role focuses on automating infrastructure provisioning for AI workloads, integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, and constructing robust pipelines for AI Agent deployment and evaluation
• IaC & Platform Automation - Author, modularize, and maintain enterprise Terraform scripts to provision Azure AI resources, sandbox environments, and secure landing zones
• Agent Pipelines & CI/CD - Construct automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) designed for agentic workflows, prompt evaluation, automated testing, and release gating
• MCP Integration - Design, containerize, and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and gateways to connect AI agents securely with enterprise databases and APIs
• Developer Enablement - Create reusable developer templates, local execution environments, and self-service IaC modules to streamline onboarding for AI developers
• Observability & Telemetry - Implement tracing and metrics collection (Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, Log Analytics) across agent executions, tool calls, and pipeline steps
