Job summary

Wipro in London or Norwich is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build secure, scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on AWS Bedrock AgentCore. You will combine strong software engineering with hands-on leadership across cloud-native AI projects. Location: London or Norwich.

Working Model: Hybrid 2/3 days in the office. Responsibilities include developing LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, embeddings and vector search, building on AWS, and implementing guardrails and Responsible

• Proven experience leading AI engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable GenAI and Agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock AgentCore.

• Build cloud-native solutions across AWS, including containerised, serverless and managed services.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Establish automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and observability across AI services.

• Optimize solutions for performance, resilience, security and cost.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and work across engineering, security, data science, operations and product teams.

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to design and build secure, scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on AWS. You will combine strong software engineering and technical leadership with hands‑on expertise across Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, LLMs, RAG and cloud‑native engineering.

Location: London or Norwich

Working Model: Hybrid 2/3 days a week in the office

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable GenAI and Agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
• Develop and integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search and agentic workflows.
• Build cloud-native solutions across AWS, including containerised, serverless and managed services.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands‑on software engineering and technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise across AWS and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
• Strong practical experience with Generative AI, LLM integration, RAG, prompt engineering and agentic patterns.
• Experience with embeddings, vector search, orchestration and model evaluation.
• Strong Python, Java or equivalent software engineering capability.
• Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, containers, IAM, networking and serverless architectures.
• Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and observability experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts and manage technical risk.
