Job summary

ev.energy is hiring for a Senior Product Engineer to lead AI-enabled product initiatives across our tech teams. You will own significant product areas, translate customer problems into concepts, and ship iterative solutions with real customer impact.

You’ll bring a strong foundation in product, design, or engineering, plus hands-on AI tool fluency and a track record of shipping AI-powered products from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of product/engineering experience with customer-facing shipping history.
• At least one AI-powered product from concept through MVP to production scale with a real story.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding and prototyping tools used daily.
• Strong product instincts based on direct customer conversations.
• Experience leading small squads and influencing direction without formal hierarchy.
• Excellent written, verbal, and demo communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Bias for action and ability to operate with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of significant product areas from problem identification to solution shipping.
• Translate customer problems into clear concepts, prioritised experiments, and scalable bets.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Demand Generation, and senior leadership to align with market opportunities.
• Build working prototypes and demos that can be tested with real customers and iterate quickly.
