Job summary

Xcede is recruiting a Data & AI Consultant for a family office-backed investment group. You will own analytics, data infrastructure and AI-driven value creation across portfolio companies, collaborating with CEOs, CFOs and CMOs to identify where data can move the needle commercially and then deliver it.

Role spans analytics, modelling and dashboards to AI-driven products, with greenfield opportunities and diverse data maturity levels.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Python and SQL
• Experience building models for real commercial use cases (propensity, clustering, regression)
• Comfortable with PySpark, Databricks, Tableau or Power BI
• Track record translating technical work for non-technical, senior stakeholders
• Genuine curiosity and adaptability with new AI tools
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure where it doesn't exist

Responsibilities

• Own analytics, data infrastructure and AI-driven value creation across the group's portfolio
• Work with CEOs, CFOs, CMOs and teams to translate data work into commercial impact
• Build and deliver analytics, modelling and dashboards across varying data maturities
• Collaborate with offshore data and automation team to align day-to-day work with portfolio strategy
• Influence stakeholders through communication and commercial judgement
