Xcede is recruiting a Data & AI Consultant for a family office-backed investment group. You will own analytics, data infrastructure and AI-driven value creation across portfolio companies, collaborating with CEOs, CFOs and CMOs to identify where data can move the needle commercially and then deliver it.
Role spans analytics, modelling and dashboards to AI-driven products, with greenfield opportunities and diverse data maturity levels.
We're recruiting on behalf of a family office-backed investment group, spanning private equity, M&A advisory and outsourced finance, with a portfolio of UK businesses ranging from a listed consumer brand through to smaller, high-growth acquisitions. The group takes a genuinely hands-on approach to value creation, working closely with the leadership teams of the businesses it invests in rather than sitting at arm's length, and is now investing seriously in data and AI as a core lever for growth across the portfolio.
We're hiring a Data & AI Consultant to take ownership of analytics, data infrastructure and AI-driven value creation across the group's portfolio companies. You'll work directly with the leadership of each business, including CEOs, CFOs, CMOs and their teams, to understand where data and AI can genuinely move the needle commercially, then build and deliver it.
This spans everything from analytics, modelling and dashboards through to increasingly sophisticated AI-driven products, across businesses at very different stages of data maturity. Some have well-established infrastructure, others are still working largely from spreadsheets. It's a genuinely greenfield opportunity in places, with real scope to set the playbook for how AI gets adopted across the group over the next few years, rather than inheriting a fixed roadmap.
You'll also work closely with an offshore data and automation team, helping shape how their day-to-day work plugs into the broader portfolio strategy.
Given the seniority of the stakeholders involved, this is as much a role about influence, communication and commercial judgement as it is technical depth.
This role is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern.
