Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior AI/Data Engineer for EY Tax Technology & Transformation in London. You will build data pipelines, models and automation for tax clients, leveraging generative AI and ML to modernise tax processes.

You’ll work with multi-country projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment and guide analysts and interns. The role requires 2–5 years in data/AI delivery, strong SQL/Python skills, and familiarity with Power Platform and low-code tools.

Qualifications

2–5 years experience delivering data, analytics or AI work
Solid hands-on technical skills in SQL and Python
Exposure to generative AI/LLM tools and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Alteryx
Experience with low-code apps like Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Build and deliver AI and data solutions for tax clients – data pipelines, models, automation and generative AI use cases
Analyse, cleanse and transform complex tax datasets into AI-ready data
Contribute to solution design, testing, documentation and QA for accuracy and robustness
Engage with client teams and EY colleagues, communicating findings and recommendations clearly
Supervise and support analysts and interns, sharing knowledge
Stay current with AI, data engineering and tax technology developments
