Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions in London is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build end-to-end AI analytics solutions that turn complex data into actionable insights for product and business decisions. You will own delivery from problem definition to deployment and continuous improvement, collaborating with product, analytics and engineering teams.

You will apply data science, AI and data engineering to deliver scalable solutions, leveraging SQL, Python, Databricks and Spark, and

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience delivering data science and AI solutions from concept to production.
Strong SQL expertise with complex queries and performance optimisation.
Strong Python proficiency for data analysis and production-ready development.
Hands-on data engineering experience: ETL/ELT, pipeline orchestration, data quality.
Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark to build scalable pipelines.

Responsibilities

Translate business questions into analytics use cases with measurable criteria.
Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI analytics solutions.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines with SQL and Python.
Apply machine learning and generative AI, including LLMs, prompting, and retrieval.
Analyze product usage to uncover opportunities and support decisions.
Establish evaluation and monitoring for accuracy, reliability, and impact.
Collaborate with engineering to integrate solutions into platforms and workflows.
Communicate findings and share best practices with colleagues.
