Capgemini in Glasgow seeks an AI Platform & Site Reliability Engineering Consultant/Senior Consultant focused on Cloud Operating Model Transformation. You will help design, assess and evolve cloud operating models that prioritise automation and AI readiness.

Key responsibilities include advising on cloud transformations, conducting assessments, designing target models, and applying AI governance. The role requires consulting experience and strong DevOps and cloud platform knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience transforming businesses through technology and operational processes.
• Proven ITIL V4/V5 practices (incident, change and problem management).
• ITIL V4/V5 certification is highly valued.
• Familiarity with GenAI tooling and integration into cloud operating models.
• Interest in agentic AI patterns and their impact on IT operations.
• Experience with DevOps, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in managing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Background in consulting or experience in a major consulting firm.
• Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning in the AI field.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on the operational and organizational impacts of cloud transformation, helping clients develop AI-ready business models.
• Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models, identifying areas for improvement and translating findings into future-state designs.
• Design target cloud operating models and service management frameworks that align with clients’ strategic ambitions and cloud maturity.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cloud operating model transformations, using operational metrics to recommend improvements.
• Utilize skills in strategy development, service management, and agile delivery to achieve digitally enabled business outcomes.
• Collaborate with various organizational levels to innovate and implement cloud transformations, contributing to the consulting practice’s growth.
• Advise clients on the practical application of large language models and agentic AI within cloud operating models.
• Support clients in understanding AI governance considerations, including data quality and transparency.
