Job Description:

Cadillac Formula 1 is preparing for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship and is looking to expand its team at Silverstone. We seek a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer (Thermal) to develop and optimize the aerodynamic thermal systems of our race cars, including PU, brakes, and electronics, using computational analysis and innovative design approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing aerodynamic cooling solutions to meet performance targets.
• Analyzing CFD and wind tunnel data to enhance aerodynamic performance.
• Understanding aerodynamic structures and behaviors around the race car.
• Collaborating on thermal development plans with management.
• Innovating methods to improve efficiency in design and analysis.
• Participating in team discussions to improve performance.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar motorsport role.
• Proven expertise in aero thermal management of powertrain, brakes, electronics, etc.
• Strong knowledge of CFD thermal methods and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA).
• Experience managing development projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Commitment to an inclusive and diverse work environment.
